FX, the Elegant Magic Artist, is a French-born New York magician specializing in refined close-up magic for corporate events and private gatherings.
His performances take place where the guests are: during a reception, around a dinner table, or among small groups gathered in conversation. With cards, coins, bills, and other everyday objects, often placed directly into his guests’ hands, FX creates impossible moments just inches away. His magic is highly interactive, but never intrusive: an invitation to participate, laugh, wonder, and share an experience with the people around you.
FX brings an unusual background to his work. Before becoming a professional magician, he spent more than two decades as an executive and consultant in business and technology, advising organizations through complex transformations and acquisitions. He understands corporate environments from the inside and is equally comfortable entertaining senior executives, colleagues, clients, or friends gathered around a private dinner table.
Born and raised in France and now based in New York, FX draws inspiration from a lifelong appreciation for art, history, classical music, philosophy, and the traditions of magic. Those influences have shaped a performing style that favors storytelling, elegance, and human connection over spectacle for its own sake.
The result is magic that becomes part of the occasion itself: sophisticated without being formal, engaging without demanding attention, and designed to leave guests with something they experienced together… and will want to talk about afterward.
Experience Descriptions
General magic experience
FX creates close-up magic that happens right where the guests are: around a table, during a reception, or among small groups in conversation.
With cards, coins, bills, and other everyday objects, the magic unfolds just inches away, often in the guests’ own hands. FX introduces himself naturally, invites people into the experience, and creates moments that lead to laughter, conversation, and genuine surprise.
There is no stage required and no need to interrupt the occasion. The magic becomes part of what is already happening, giving guests something unexpected to experience together… and something they will still be talking about afterward.
Corporate experience description
Corporate events bring people together for a reason: to connect colleagues, strengthen relationships, celebrate accomplishments, or create memorable experiences for clients.
FX works naturally within that environment, moving among small groups or tables and creating close-up magic just inches from the guests. The experience gives people an easy reason to stop, engage, laugh, and start conversations with one another.
Everything is designed to integrate easily into the event. FX arrives performance-ready, works primarily from what he carries with him, and requires little or no setup. From executive dinners to receptions and larger company gatherings, the magic complements the purpose of the occasion rather than competing with it.
Private experience description
The best celebrations are often remembered through the unexpected moments that happen along the way.
At a private dinner, birthday, anniversary, or gathering of friends and family, FX brings close-up magic directly to the guests. Cards, coins, and familiar objects become impossible in their hands, creating shared moments of surprise, laughter, and conversation.
The experience is personal and informal rather than a performance imposed on the room. FX gets to know the guests, invites them to participate, and adapts naturally to the rhythm of the occasion. The result is something special woven into the celebration, giving everyone a few stories they can share long after the evening is over.
